Student bloggers will write a book review. You have two choices - you may make a video or you may write a review. Either is fine! You may also do it independently, or you may work with your book club group (be sure to include all group members' names). Your review needs to include:
-Title of the book
-Author
-Characters & setting
-Main conflict of the story (don't tell how it is resolved, though!)
-Theme of the story
-Favorite part of the book
-Least favorite part of the book
-Would you recommend this book to others
Posts are due by Thursday.

I'm Jessica, a teacher at River Valley. My favorite subject is Language Arts because I love reading and writing. My favorite book ever is a tie between The Watsons Go to Birmingham-1963 by Christopher Paul Curtis or Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie by Jordan Sonnenblick. My favorite genres tend to be historical or realistic fiction. Outside of school, I love to read, bake, and craft. My goal for blogging is to create a space where students can publish their work for an authentic audience. Happy blogging!
